The most recent Carnivore discoveries to my knowledge are Zuchang Tyrannus-A tyrannosaur, 3rd largest of its species. And Oxalia, a 40ft spinosaur from Brazil. I'm pretty sure I missed a few, but you guys can discuss the statistics and locations.

New info! Zuchang Tyrannus lived around the same time and place as Tarbosaurus, so they may have come in contact with one another.

Actualy its ZHuchEngtyrannus, but whatever.
Anyway, how did they estimate Oxalia's length? We have very little of it.

Same way they estimated Spinosaurus' length, by basing it off other spinosaurs. So there's a good chance that it's incorrect.

True. At least for Spinosaurus we had a skeleton (It wasn't close to complete, tough) but for Oxalia we have only 2 bones. I wont trush length, weight and height estimates for it until we find more bones.

Heres something I emailed an expert about, with the Spinosaurus weight estimant being 21 tons. He said:

Those are not accurate. Those numbers are based on Tyrannosaur proportions with a length estimate for Spinosaurus reduced to 14 meters. I can't imagine how Spinosaurus, even at 60 feet could weight that much when Sauropods at 80+ feet only got around that in weight. This piece of research was widely criticized and isn't accepted. Walking would be a problem for Spinosaurus at that weight.

Yeah, that weight estimate is realy innacurate. If I'm right when a bipedal animal runs, each time it puts its foot down its leg has to take a force of twice the owner's body weight. Each step a running Spinosaurus of 21 ton takes its leg would have to survive a force of 42 tons. Seems impossible to me.

The only way it would be remotely possible was if it had a hump instead of a sail. But even then it wouldn't have been that heavy.
