If you're unfamiliar with the term cryptozoology, it is the study of cryptids- creatures not proven to exist by science but are rumored to. Some of the better known examples of cryptids are Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster. However, many cryptids are thought to be prehistoric animals still alive, including dinosaurs. If anyone else has an interest in cryptozoology, post here!

It's supposed to be a living T.rex. Also, Seriously? A T.rex? God! Be creative! Why not take an Albertosaurus?! XD Ok, it might just be an overgrown Monitor Lizard:

Well, when you think about it, T. rex is pretty much the only large therepod familiar to non-dinosaur fans. If someone unfamiliar with dinosaurs saw, say, a Carcharodonotosaurus, they'd say it's a T. rex. Not saying I believe in Kasai Rex, though. There's only two reports, and they're so similar that they're probably the same one. That does not make a convincing case, and the fact that the hunter in the story was hunting "giant bull elephants" in a forest makes it seem like it's a fantasy, as the only elephants in forests are forest elephants, which are quite small. However, on the off chance it is real, I'd believe it to be a descendent of Carcharodontosaurus or a similar African therepod, as no Tyrannosaur is known from Africa, and, like I said before, most people who saw a large therepod would think it was T. rex.
